Professor Diu
Professor Diu received his engineering doctoral degree from the State University of New York in 1982 and began his teaching career at universities in the United States. He worked at IBM's development lab from 1985 to 1994. In 1994, he was invited to be a visiting scholar at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and became the head of the Department of Applied Computing at the Open University of Hong Kong in 1995. He later served as the director of the SCS-IT and Environmental Development Department at the Chinese University of Hong Kong until his retirement in 2013.
